Testimonials from TLT Properties’ tenants
“I've rented from Todd for two years the apartment was great! And he was always super responsive for any questions. His maintenance teams was great and responsive as well. If I wasn’t moving I would have stay another year in the unit.”
Alejandro U.,
“Lived at one of Todd's properties for two years and would recommend anyone to rent from him! The space was perfect, location ideal, and never had any problems. He is super responsive, as is his maintenance team. If I weren't moving out of town, I'd stay at the place longer. Uncomplicated, responsive, and good price -- the trifecta you don't often see!”

“For almost 13 years, I lived in an apartment in a house divided into four units. Todd took over the management of the property under Heath Properties name a few years into my time there. He was always very responsive to issues, and he tried to be fair to all tenants. My experience of both Jim and Andy on maintenance is that they were both kind, professional, and responsive. I don't think I ever waited over 24 hours for a response--not sure how they do it! A lot of these old houses have great character and are in beautiful neighborhoods with lovely views in every season. They also have their quirks, and sometimes you have to accept that. You can have a nice quality of life in these places when neighbors respect each other by not smoking where others will be affected and by maintaining reasonable quiet hours and just generally respecting each other. I will miss "my trees" and old neighborhood. That place helped me through a tough life transition. Rent was reasonable and allowed me to get back on my feet and eventually over time even pay off my student loans. Todd was also kind enough to find a tenant to take my apartment early when my situation changed and there was a timing issue. I tried to leave my apartment looking a little better than when I moved in and got my full deposit back. Thanks, Todd, Jim, and Andy, for your patience and help over the years!”
Anne M.,
“I've been renting from Todd/ TLT properties for the past two years and I couldn't be happier. From day one, they made the entire process smooth and transparent.
What stands out most is the communication. Responses to messages or maintenance requests are almost always within a few hours, and never more than a day. When something needs fixing, it gets handled quickly and professionally whether it was a leaky faucet, or HVAC issue. They clearly take pride in keeping the property in great shape.
The unit itself was clean and well-maintained when I moved in, and they've continued to make thoughtful improvements (new ac unit and heating, new roof just last year). Rent increases have been reasonable and always communicated well in advance. As a tenant, I've never felt like just a number; they treat you with respect and fairness.
I've already recommended them to friends and family who were looking in the Monticello area and I'd happily rent from them again if I weren't in a house now. If you're looking for a reliable, responsive landlord who actually cares about their properties and tenants, look no further.”
Craig J.,
“Responsive and easy to work with.”
John S.,
“I rented from TLT for about a year. It was a good place in a quiet neighborhood. It was a decent price in comparison to other studios in the area. Todd was very accepting of my pets, which was absolutely wonderful. The only minor complaint/suggestion was the laundry room/area was less than desirable and the dryer wasn't the best. The building was older, so a few things, such as the stairs, needed a little updating. Overall though, I would recommend TLT properties to anyone who would ask me about landlords/rental agencies in the area.”
Ash G.,
“I had a great experience living in TLT properties. My place was well priced and dealing with the management team was very simple the few times things needed service.”
Jack H.,
“I was a tenant with Todd for three years and I highly recommend his properties. The place was well maintained and the handyman, Andy, is responsive and effective. Todd was open to any issues I had while still allowing us to paint and plant a garden. I really loved having a private landlord that was responsive and would work with me over one of the big companies that fight you over every little thing. Overall good landlord”
Vivien C.,
“I rented a lovely space from Todd in Champaign and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The property was clean on move in, the rent was very reasonable, and any needs or requests were taken care of immediately. Communication was always easy, and it's clear he takes good care of the spaces he manages. When we moved out, we left the unit in great condition and received our full security deposit back without any hassle. If you're looking for a reliable, hands-on property manager in Champaign, I highly recommend Todd!”
Justin B.,
“I'm really glad I chose TLT Properties for my first apartment! Todd was very friendly and responsive, as was the maintenance team. I rented with them for over 4 years and would gladly rent with them again!!”
Kestral I.,
“I enjoyed my apartment and the closeness to downtown. It was a really nice and quiet area. Todd was really flexible and easy to work with, as well as attentive to all repairs. Some units are older (but charming!), so repairs were somewhat frequent. They were handled quickly though! I moved to a larger apartment elsewhere, but I would recommend Todd and TLT Properties if you're in the area. Also, rent is extremely reasonable with him.”
Jori B.,
“I rented with TLT for three years and it was the best experience I've had in as a renter. Todd was very accommodating, understanding, and has excellent communication. He goes an extra mile for his tenants and if you have any issues he as well as Andy addresses them as soon as possible. If it wasn’t for needing to care for someone else I would have continued renting there.”
Jafara S.,
“Rented from Todd for about three years and never had any huge issues. My apartment was a really good price for what I was getting and Todd was able to get maintenence over to me pretty quickly once when my heat went out.”
Ryan M.,
“Rented from TLT Properties for the last 3 years...if I wasn't moving out of state, it would of been my forever apartment. If I ever had any issues they were fixed, or resolved in a timely manner. If you're ever looking for an apartment in Rantoul and you see a TLT apartment open on South Garrard...I suggest taking a look, you won't be disappointed. Older house turned into an apartments...amazing yard, with a park like setting. Interior is awesome with some of the older home features.”
Ray V.,
“TLT Properties is a great company to rent from! Management is more than willing to work with their clients to ensure everyone's satisfied!”
James M.,
“I was an international student who came to Champaign-Urbana right before the classes were supposed to begin. Having no US phone and being in the process of doing all the necessary paperwork, it was especially challenging to find a place to live just 3 days before the beginning of my classes. I emailed different properties on Sunday to inquire about details, and I was surprised that Todd (owner of TLT Properies) responded to my email just in a couple of hours, suggesting several options. He also helped with the necessary paperwork, which I particularly appreciated. I lived in that apartment for 3 years until I was done with my classes in CU. The place wasn't new, but the price was reasonable (you get what you pay for). There were that had to be fixed or taken care of from time to time, I appreciate how they were actually addressed in a timely manner. I had a very positive experience with TLT Properties and I think that Todd is both a great landlord and a great person. Despite my status as an international student, I was treated fairly, and I am grateful to Todd. I also recommend TLT Properties to my friends who are looking for housing options in CU area as I had a positive experience. Thank you!”
Sergei M.,
“Lived in a divided, single bedroom, old house for a few years. Other than the age of the building, it was a very cozy apartment.
Landlord replies to questions and requests promptly, and is overall easy to work with. Only reason I moved was needing a bit more space.”
Nick M.,
“I rented a unit from TLT and this was the only rental company of all the companies in the Champaign area that I renewed a lease with. Very reasonable prices. Todd and maintenance are always responsive. I definitely recommend renting through TLT!”
Taylor H.,
“I lived in 2 different TLT properties over the course of 5 years both in Monticello and Champaign. The maintenance men, Jim and Andy were both phenomenal and very kind. Todd is always easy to reach and willing to help. Both apartments were affordable and cozy.”
Bailey O.,
“Todd has been the best landlord I've had in CU. Rent has been reasonable. Andy, his maintenance man does a great job as well!”
Myra M.,
“I rented from Todd for 3 years in 2 different properties, and I had a great experience. He is always quick to respond to any concerns I may have had. The properties I rented were old but both very beautiful and charming as old houses are. They had a lot of windows for natural light, original hardwood floors, and nice outdoor areas either a front porch or balcony. The streets were also cute and I felt safe walking them with my newborn son. TLT Properties is a great company to work with. Should I ever move back to Champaign, Todd would be the first landlord on my list.”
Fallon K.,
“I have yet to rent under Todd (though that may change in the future) however when I had questions regarding a unit he was quick to respond and give me all the information I asked for and then some! I greatly appreciated his attentiveness and positivity. It's a breath of fresh air to find landlords who care!”
Paige W.,
“Todd is an awesome landlord. I lived under his management for 7 years. The only reason I moved is because I needed to get my dog off of the second floor climbing stairs (for longevity life). The maintenance guy Jim is very personable and time sensitive. Todd is pet friendly without breed/weight restrictions. I'm really appreciate to have lived under his management.”
Colette J.,
“Lived in multiple properties for multiple years. Reasonable and understanding experience, issues typically handled in a timely manner. Todd was always responsive to concerns!”
Tristan B.,
“Todd is a great landlord! Never had too many problems but if I had any questions or concerns he always got back to me in a timely manner and the maintenance was quick as well. I had a spacious one bedroom with lots of windows, natural light and HUGE bathroom in a perfect location next to campus, downtown, public library , restaurants, etc. Unfortunately I had to leave my beautiful one bedroom but would definitely look to TLT Properties if I make my way back here!”
Ace H.,
“Leasing with TLT has been a great experience. The process was straightforward and hassle-free. always easy to reach and very helpful. Plus, their pricing is super affordable for the area. Highly recommend!”
Arriana W.,
“I've rented a couple of places from tlt properties over the last several years and have been pleased with all of them. Responses to concerns were always quick, lawns taken care of and communication was great. They definitely worked with me when I needed them to and it was appreciated. ?my neighbors have always been pretty good too but maybe i just got lucky with that one.
I never felt I was being over charged for the places I was at and I got a lot of space for a great price. Lots of character too. Not saying it was always perfect or didn't need work but always felt safe, things that needed work got done quickly and even the maintenance man was mindful of my time and talked me through things before doing anything.
When I couldn't get out of work on time to sign my lease Todd realized I worked across the street from him and came over to me, so I could sign the lease. Never made things more difficult, very straight forward and always helpedlful. If you're searching for a new place, definitely consider TLT Properties.”
Justine L.,
“I had a great price on a huge one bedroom apartment for 3 years. When I needed to end my lease early, Todd found a tenant to take the apartment over and gave me my deposit back without an issue.
You get what you pay for in my opinion- it was definitely an older unit with some quirks. The laundry situation was not ideal. To be fair though, I was probably only paying for 60-70% of what it would have gone for if it was immaculately maintained.
Maintenance seemed pretty busy, I had to ask several times to get things done sometimes, but for big problems (raccoon in the crawlspaces, no hot water, heat went out) they were on it within 24 hours.
If you're willing to compromise on these points for a great price, TLT is a good option.”
Katie F.,
“Very nice guy. Super professional and made my mom a priority since she is disabled. Not too many like him in this world. Thank you Todd we look forward to doing business with you.”
Devonna S.,
“I rented from Todd for the 7 years I lived in Champaign at two different TLT properties, and I can honestly say that my experience in Champaign would not have been as good as it was had I gone with a different landlord/rental company. I signed my lease blind from out of state the very first year and Todd was incredibly accommodating and understanding of the situation, and went out of his way to send me extra pictures of the apartment both inside and out so I knew what I was getting when I signed (this was before video tours were a common thing). When I moved out of that apartment to a bigger one with TLT, Todd happily showed me every unit I had even a little interest in so I could make whatever choice was best and went over the honest pros and cons of each as we went through them.
From a renter perspective, TLT is fantastic. Maintenance requests were always taken care of within a few days, and the few times where a very serious issue happened (i.e., pipes bursting) maintenance was there on the same-day to make sure no damage was done to anything inside the apartment. Huge shout out to Jim and Andy for always taking care of things. Any time there was any situation with extenuating circumstances for either me or my roommates over the years Todd was always very understanding and flexible and always genuinely tried to work to help make things work seamlessly. We always had plenty of heads up when our apartment was going to be shown, and there was constant communication in all of the move out / move in processes.
I really can’t say enough good things about Todd / TLT and the experience I had renting from him. If you have the option to rent from TLT over any other group, do it, you won’t regret it.”
Max E.,
“I had rented an apartment from TLT an I must say Todd was a pretty good landlord appreciate you.”
Timothy M.,
“TLT provides affordable housing in the Champaign area. Well managed and fair. Highly recommended.”
Dan M.,
“After several not-so-positive experiences with landlords and leasing companies, leasing under Todd was a breeze! Easy to get ahold of, quick to reply and relaxed. Maintenance staff was efficient, friendly and overall helpful as well.”
Adriana G.,
“I lived in this apartment for 10 years, the last seven of which Todd was the owner of the building. Maintenance staff were always easy to work with and very responsive. Todd was flexible and responsive when any issues arose in the building. Very good feedback during during transition of taking ownership of the building. When I decided to move and the apartment needed to be shown, Todd made it easy to schedule a time and allow me to get out of the house with my dog. He was very communicative when it came time for me to move out and I had come down with COVID during that week, he gave me a few extra hours to get everything out and cleaned up and provided quick feedback on the status of the vacant apartment.”
Kris K.,
“Todd was a very professional and personable landlord, and the maintenance staff were always very responsive. If I had to rent in Champaign again I’d definitely choose TLT!”
Eric H.,

“Todd was by far the most understanding, approachable, and helpful landlord I've ever had. He and his maintenance team are quick to resolve any issues that may come up, and he is very responsive to all emails/communications. I also appreciate the fact that my check was always cashed within two days of dropping it off - after living places where they sit on checks this was a nice change! Very trustworthy, friendly, and empathetic - would definitely recommend!”
Jack D.,
“I've been living in my apartment for seven years. About two years ago, TLT Properties bought my building. Todd is a great landlord and the maintenance team is very fast in fixing things. I am getting ready to move and the process of showing my apartment has been very easy. Todd regularly updated me with at least three days notice before a showing. Much appreciated!”
Lauren J.,
“I didn't know anything about TLT when I signed my lease with Todd, the owner, but I have had a great experience. He is genuine and responsive. This is my first year renting from him, but I wish I was staying longer. I loved my unit. Maintenance is personable and caring, which is rare. I highly recommend renting from Todd. I know I won't hesitate in the future.”
Olivia P.,
“Great place and great community to live! Awesome landlord!!!”
Khan C.,
“I've really enjoyed my time renting with Todd and TLT properties. I have lived in the same apartment for 6 years now while in grad school and would definitely rent from him again in the future. Anytime I've needed anything he has responded really quickly to get whatever it was I needed addressed and he has been flexible with changes I've asked to make to the space. Also, as a single woman living alone I've never felt uncomfortable with him or the person who responds for maintenance and repairs, which is something I totally appreciate. I really love my apartment and the location and rent is super reasonable. I've rented from lots of different companies in different states over the years, and TLT is by far the most positive experience I've had.”
Hope H.,
“The Best landlord by far. I highly recommend them. I'm going to stay with them for a long time. Landlord is on point with everything. Maintenance is alway on time and fast no matter the problem Love living in his properties”
Carrie P.,
“I have lived at my apartment in Tolono for almost 4 years and it was a great experience. Todd is very easy to work with and a very accommodating landlord. He makes renting easy and if I had any issues (very little to report) maintenance was on it! I would stay longer if I wasn't moving out of town. You won't be disappointed.”
Ashley M.,
“I rented from TLT Properties for 3 years and Todd(Landlord) and Jim(Maintenance) are the best guys I ever rented from...Always willing to work with you,I highly recommend TLT Properties...they're great.”
Ramone S.,
“Living with TLT properties was a great experience! Though it was only for a year, it felt like home. Todd is very accommodating and quick to respond to any and all questions. His maintenance crew is also quick, efficient and professional. I recommend signing with him!”
Tommy T.,
“I rented with Todd for almost 3 years and it has been a great experience. He has always been responsive and accommodating. And easy to reach for whatever we may have needed. Jim, the head of maintenance, has always addressed our maintenance requests promptly and done an exceptional job. They are both very professional and responsive. We would have stayed longer had we not bought a home of our own. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in the Champaign/Tolono area.”
Jessica S.,
“Lived in an apartment of Todd's for about 5 years. It was an enjoyable experience and it always felt like my space not that I was in a rental. If there was ever any issue it would get taken care of swiftly and promptly. I can't say enough good things about Jim the maintenance guy. Such a sweet guy and would drop what he was doing to sure any issues I had were taken care of (Not there were many, just little things) Would definitely rent from again.”
Scott S.,
“Renting with Todd has been a great experience. He has always been responsive and accommodating, while Jim, the head of maintenance, has always addressed our maintenance requests promptly. We were with TLT for just over two years and would have stayed longer had we not bought a home of our own. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in the Champaign area.”
Jennifer K.,
“This is the best company I have ever rented from. Look no further.”
Greta L.,
“I’ve lived in one of TLT properties apartments for about a year. Anytime I have ever had an issue they are out within a few hours and take good care of me. I highly recommend renting from them. Super affordable and friendly!”
Cole N.,
“We rented from Todd for almost 16 years. We raised two daughters in the house we rented and made many fond memories there. We thought about buying a house and moving many times, but our family was so comfortable and happy in our rental that we just never made the jump! We did finally decide to buy a house and move out of our rental, but it was bitter sweet. Todd was a great landlord and was always available by email or text, very quick to respond. He was more than helpful many times through the years that we lived in our rental. Jim, who does maintenance, was fantastic and always took care of any issues that came up in a timely manner. I would recommend renting from Todd to anyone that's looking for a place!”
Sarah E.,
“I was a tenant for over a year. I am a single mom of 2 and if I needed anything at all, the maintenance man was always a phone call away. The building was clean and comfortable and a great 1st place for my kids and I! Mr. Thorstenson is a busy man but easy to reach, understanding, incredibly flexible, and quick to respond. I really enjoyed living in his property!”
Andrea C.,
“I've rented from TLT Properties over the past year and have had a very positive experience. Todd was organized and prompt to respond to any issues I had. Plus he is a nice guy and was always willing to help me when I needed something. Definitely recommend!”
Brian R.,
“I had no issues renting from Todd and TLT Properties. Everyone responded quickly and showed interest in fixing any issues I may have had. There are a lot of companies in the CU that will take advantage, but I experienced none of that with TLT Properties. Overall, a good experience.”
Mike D.,
“Renting with TLT was so easy. I've never met such a down to earth and reliable landlord. As soon as we had a problem he did his best to fix it, the apartment was affordable and fair, and we were right in the middle of Champaign. I doubt you'll find a more understanding person. He went above and beyond for a landlord. I would recommend renting to friends or family.”
Emily M.,
“Todd is the best landlord ever! I have really enjoyed living and working with his company. I would refer him to all of my friends and family. Jim is amazing too! He is so helpful with any repairs! If you want a great place to stay, then call Todd! Don't miss out on a wonderful experience!”
Theopolies M.,
“I've lived in properties owned and/or managed by TLT Properties for over ten years. Fair. Responsive. Respectful.”
Robert T.,
“I loved working with Todd at TLT and his maintenance team! I hated to leave (moved out of state) and if I still lived in Champaign I would still be at my sweet little apartment on Washington managed by TLT. There are some pretty bad management companies, but TLT is great!”
Ashley G.,
“Todd is the best landlord ever, maintainence is always there if you need any assistance, Jim is the guy. If I did not move out of state, I would definitely stay in one of Todd's properties.”
Alrick S.,
“We have rented from TLT for 2 years now. Todd is very fair and understanding. Whenever we’ve contacted him, he was always quick to respond. If repairs were needed, they would be done within 48 hrs of us contacting maintenance. It only took longer if a part had to be shipped in. First year renting from him, the fridge broke down. That same day a brand new one was brought in. I will recommend everyone to rent from him.”
Myeshia H.,
“I've rented from a few different places in Champaign, and this is the best place I've lived so far. The staff are all very friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. The properties are really great, with many near downtown. I love my current apartment, too! Maintenance is off the charts - even bigger jobs are fixed promptly and well, to my delight. Would absolutely recommend this property company to anyone looking to rent in Champaign.”
Luisa R.,
“I've been renting from TLT Properties for a few years. Todd, the owner, is always prompt in replying to emails, and deals with any issues we have quickly. Jim, head of maintenance, is amazing! He deals with any issues immediately, and explains what the problem was and how he fixed it. Both Jim and Todd are only an email or text away, which is not always the case with other rental agencies in the Champaign-Urbana area. I have had a great experience renting from TLT Properties, and would have continued to do so if I wasn't moving away.”
Allison P.,
“As a tenant for over 4 years, I have very much enjoyed living at near downtown State street property. Todd is responsive to larger issues, and Jim, the maintenance man, is wonderful. My wife and I have loved living at this area of Champaign and a large part of that is living at a TLT properties building.”
David S.,
“I’ve lived in one of Todd Thorstenson’s apartments for two years, and couldn’t be happier. The apartment itself is a gem, and both Todd and Jim, the maintenance manager, are super responsive to any issues in the house or apartment. I feel lucky to have found this apartment!”
Leslie C.,
“My husband and I have lived with TLT Properties for the last four years with two different apartments. Throughout that time, we've always felt great about our tenant-landlord relationship. When there was a problem, we knew we could reach out and receive a solution. The maintenance team is excellent and very friendly. We would highly recommend TLT Properties!”
Shelby A.,
“I've rented with Green Street Realty, JSM, and Roland Realty in Champaign, and leasing from TLT Properties has outshined them all. Todd shows great attentiveness to my concerns and has always been prompt in replying to my emails or texts. TLT Properties' Chief of Maintenance, Jim, is likewise prompt on tending to any fixes and is courteous about sending a reminder text to each tenant for pest control continuity every month. It is a great feeling to know that if you have a question, your landlord and maintenance contact is just a text or email away. Previous landlords have required me to log into a tenant portal and submit requests for maintenance with no prompt replies and with half-hearted work put into the fixes. At TLT Properties, Jim and his team have been consistent in fixing any maintenance requests in a timely and complete manner. Previous landlords have required me to jump through hoops to try to locate a manager about any problems that would be addressed with a landlord and most often I would only get as far as speaking with some irritated administrative assistants behind a front desk. With TLT Properties, I've been able to directly connect with Todd. TLT Properties has been the best company I've rented from in the Champaign, IL area. I highly recommend!”
Aly K.,
“Todd's been my landlord for five years, and I've happy with the arrangement. He balances being available for his tenants while not trying to get too much in their business. My maintenance requests have been promptly responded to.”
Josh W.,
“I've lived here for about a year and a half, and haven't had any problems. The maintenance staff is wonderful, and the building is well kept. The price for living downtown is great.”
Lydia B.,
“TLT properties is the best we have been with them in a apartment in Tolono for 3 or 4 years and would still rent from them if we had not bought a house. You can't go wrong with them friendly staff and owner just a pleasure to rent from.”
Michael S.,
“By far the best company to rent from in the Champaign area. Extremely friendly service with the utmost care and respect for their tenants. Maintenance calls are quickly answered and fixed even faster. Rent is very fair and definitely get a bargain. Would rent from again any time!”
Ben T.,
“I rented from TLT Property Management for 2 years and never had a problem. They were responsive to my inquiries and handled all maintenance requests almost immediately. The apartment I rented was in great condition. They were even willing to paint the living room walls a color of my choosing and worked with my schedule to get it done.
My apartment was in a great location and within walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend renting from TLT!”
Kristy K.,
“From 2006-2011 i lived in Champaign while earning my PhD at Illinois. I stayed in the same apartment (in a multi-apt. big house) all 5 years because it fit my needs - spacious, quiet, and it had character. Mostly, I enjoyed my time in my apartment because i had friendly maintenance/repair workers, a responsive landlord, and a great location.
I never heard from TLT employees unless it was important, and I was always able to communicate with them when i needed. It was great; I enjoyed my 5 years in my apartment near downtown Champaign. I did not have any noise issues from neighbors/other tenants in the house.
Paying rent was convenient to drop off at the TLT office in downtown - and rent was quite reasonable. Although I have moved on in life, my 5 years had a lot of good memories. My living situation allowed for many good years.”
John K.,
“We live in the Tolono TLT Properties Apartments...This is the first apartment we have lived and we have struck the jackpot. Both Todd(landlord) and Jim (maintanence) are absolutely wonderful. Todd has been very understanding and willing to work with us and Jim's response time to any maintanence issue we have had is amazing. I intend to stay where we are for several years and if the need arises that we should have move I am going to do my best to stay with Todd and TLT Properties,..I couldnt imagine renting from anyone else.”
Emily B.,
“Todd at TLT Properties is a fantastic landlord; we are so impressed with how helpful and patient he is. Whenever we e-mail him for a maintenance issue, he responds within ten minutes and sends someone the same day. The maintenance guys (Jim and Kenny) are so, so nice too!
For example, last summer our fridge and our AC system crapped out. They were both fixed within 24 hours! You really can't beat that.
Todd is polite and accommodating, and he's a runner, which makes him cool. We definitely recommend renting from him if you can. He is, by far, the best landlord that we have encountered in the CU area.”
Mica S.,
“In the years of being a renter,TLT Properties is one of the best. You couldn't ask for a better landlord. Todd is always quick to respond to your needs and the maintenance staff is always quick to respond to issues. Would recommend to anybody.”
Bob M.,
“I have lived in several different apartments over the years and Todd, the landlord, is by far one of the best owners I have had. He usually responds to any inquiries within minutes of sending him an email. He even came to investigate a problem a 10pm at night. Not many landlords will do that. He stays on top of maitainence requests and gets his maintaince staff over to fix any problems in a timely manner. The maintainece staff is very friendly and professional and will accommodate you to get your issue resolved as soon as possible. I would highly recommend any of his properties.”
Pat B.,
“I have had some really bad landlords before and was very happy to find that Todd was reliable and trustworthy. He responded to problems quickly and I would for sure recommend leasing from him.”
Robin E.,
“I definitely recommend TLT property. The owner, Todd, is a really great guy and quick to respond to any request. On the two occasions that I needed to call maintenance he made sure they came right away, and they always took care of what I needed quickly. I also had to rent the apartment before seeing it (because I was arriving from abroad), and he was very trustworthy about the whole transition and always made me feel like my decision was secure. All in all, TLT is great!”
Brady C.,
“Todd at TLT is very easy to work with. He always made sure everything in my apartment was working correctly, and was quick to fix any maintenance issues that came up. I found him to be a flexible landlord who was very easy to get along with. I would definitely rent from him again.”
David W.,
“TLT Property (Todd) has always been incredibly generous and patient. He has been more than reasonable with a variety of everyday issues we all face as renters. He has always been more than reasonable, quick to respond, and open and sensitive to his tennants needs and suggestions. Todd is a very trustworthy landlord, I would recommend him to anyone! His maitenance team has always been courteous and quick to respond to my requests, questions, and needs. Renting from him was a great expierience, I hope I have such luck with future rental companies!!!”
Jackie P.,
“Todd, who runs TLT, is a really cool guy. Before I first moved to Champaign-Urbana for grad school I found one his properties online. Because I was unable to to travel to look at the place in person, Todd e-mailed many photos of the properties to me, and I rented the place. This was one of the wisest decisions I ever made, and all my years renting from TLT was a very positive experience. The maintenance requests are answered immediately, Todd is fair and very attentive (but never obtrusive), and when it came time for me to leave Illinois I got my deposit returned quickly. I will be returning to the university is August and I am hoping to to again rent from TLT!”
Thom D.,
“I've rented apartments at two of TLT's properties and am moving to a third in August. The rent is reasonable, and the manager as well as the maintenance staff is always friendly and quick to respond. They've got a wide variety of properties, so you can always upgrade or downgrade if your situation changes. I've got nothing but nice things to say about them!”
